About Dr James Wee
Dr James Wee is a dual subspeciality Orthopaedic Surgeon with almost 20 years of clinical experience. He is one of the only surgeons in Singapore who is double Fellowship-trained in Hip & Knee Surgery and Foot & Ankle Surgery, having completed Clinical Fellowships at Oxford University Hospitals and the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in the UK. He is a complete lower limb surgeon, with expertise in Limb Lengthening & Reconstruction Surgery.
As a high-volume partial knee replacement surgeon in Singapore, Dr Wee is an Asia Pacific regional instructor for the Oxford Partial Knee Replacement system, which is a minimally invasive technique that is safer, offers faster recovery and results in better knee function than conventional total knee replacement. Additionally, he has expertise in ligament, meniscus and cartilage repair and reconstruction.
An expert in Minimally-Invasive Surgery (MIS), he is one of the few surgeons in Singapore skilled in Arthroscopic “keyhole” Triple Fusion surgery for treating complex foot deformities. He is experienced in MIS “keyhole” Bunion and Hammer Toe surgery and co-published the novel MIS “Lasso” Technique for Ankle ligament reconstruction (using a single 1cm incision).
Dr Wee graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS) with his M.B.B.S. degree and was placed on the Dean’s list with a gold medal. He has been appointed Assistant Professor with the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, having served as the School’s Principal Lead for Orthopaedic Surgery. He has served as Visiting Consultant to Tan Tock Seng Hospital and Woodlands Health, and has also sat on the NUS Master of Medicine Committee.

Dr James Wee is a Senior Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon and the Medical Director of Oxford Orthopaedics. He is a dual subspecialty surgeon, coming to 20 years of clinical experience. He completed his Fellowship in both Hip & Knee and Foot & Ankle Surgery at the Oxford University Hospitals and the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital UK.

Dr Colum Nolan is the Medical Director at Oxford Spine and Neurosurgery Centre. He is an experienced Senior Consultant Neurosurgeon with a subspecialty in Spine Surgery. He has particular expertise in minimally invasive spine surgery and the use of spinal navigation technology.
Prior to his private practice, Dr Nolan served as a Senior Consultant Neurosurgeon at Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH) and Sengkang General Hospital campuses. He also held the appointment of Director of the Spine and Spinal Disorders Programme at National Neuroscience Institute (NNI) and was also the Head of the Neurosurgery Service at Sengkang General Hospital.
